Purpose

To make sure invoices are paid by our customers as correct as possible and get the overdue days kept to a minimum. Posting bank statements, answering mails, sending out reminders, calling customers

Key Accountabilities

Credit control

  • send out reminders for Pelsis Belgium NV and Edialux Netherlands BV
  • Call for outstanding invoices of both companies in languages DE/FR/EN/NL
  • Add reactions of customers in follow up files
  • Answering the reactions of customers in a polite and business improving way
  • Notify sales if customer is overdue without reason
  • Make sure customer is fully aware of his debt towards Pelsis Belgium or Edialux Netherlands
  • Do communication with lawyer if customer needs to be send through
  • Keep everyone in the business aware of actions taken and /or problems with customers
  • Keep clean aging
  • Escalate things in the business if customer experiences problems
  • Take credit reports on new / existing customers
  • Make decisions on payment conditions and follow up
  • Follow up blocked orders
  • Follow up paid proforma orders
  • Build up good relationship with customers so they pay timely and if anything, we can respond to their request /actions on a polite way
  • Give statements by request of customer
  • Check master data customer
  • Follow up on risk categories

Accounting help

  • post bank statements
  • Make direct debit files to send to bank
  • Make documents to add new customer to direct debit and do communication
  • Send out mails to customer for unknown payments
  • Send out mails to customer for incorrect financial discounts

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience:

  • Bachelor degree Accounting
  • Extravert personality
  • Speaks French, German, English, Dutch
  • Can follow accounting postings to clean up accounts
  • Solid experience at Management Information (MI) reporting
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
  • active listening skills
  • Good at judgment and decision making
  • Excellent problem solving and being a solution focused person
  • MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) as well as CRM package
